groundbreaking-ghomesforheroes-copyVETSS takes great pride in being selected by the Master Sergeant Frank L. Green Heritage Foundation to be the Project Manager for the construction of gHomes, green homes constructed for military veterans and disabled veterans.

The foundation has pledged to construct twelve (12) gHomes in the St Louis region and one hundred (100) across the nation.

VETSS trains trainsitioning veterans basic ”green-construction” skills required to work along side experienced green-builders such as Matt Belcher, President of Belcher Homes, to build energy efficient homes for fellow veterans.  The goal is three-fold:  (1)  VETSS helping veterans obtain an affordable home (2) Train veterans to build green while making green (3)  Help disabled veterans obtain green homes that require little maintenance and lawn care.
