VETSS continues to expand our Network of Partners who support training and hiring our transitioning military veterans seeking to enter the renewable energy industry.

Dr. Shawn Xu, University of Missouri-Columbia and Charles Boyd, VETSS, Inc.

The University of Missouri-Columbia’s Institute For Energy Technologies (ENTECH) partnering with VETSS brought international acclaimed geothermal engineering expert Dr. Xu, President, Sustain Technologies.  Ranked in the top 5 in the world, Dr. Xu has completed five geothermal engineering project in China for the Department of Energy and two for the Department of Commerce.

Matt Belcher, President, Belcher Homes partnered with VETSS to give him the opportunity to train veterans in ”green-construction”.  Matt serves on the National Association of Hume Builder’s Board of Directors and its Green Building and Energy Subcommittee.  Matt has over 30 years of experience in green-building, including six years as a top building codes official.

Building Systems Technologies (BST, LLC) is another partner of VETSS.  BST, LLC is an electrical contractor company having a focused interest ingoing green through solar.  Darren Carroll, a 20+ years Master Electrician, has a team of eight (8) electrician performing electrical wiring projects -and attending VETSS training sessions to become skillful in wiring both solar and wind energy systems.  Belcher Homes and BST work together, along with Answers, Inc., on custom-built home projects in the St Louis region.  Answers, Inc. an architecture firm, is also a VETSS teaming partner.
