Nationwide Installers Network

VETSS’ Nationwide Installers Network connects experienced, certified installers from coast-to-coast with potential clients and customers.  Installers such as:

Roger Coughlan, President, Sun Pirate

Roger is a Marine who has 25+ years in the solar business, primarily in California.  Roger is a trained trainer and has established his own on-line program for solar thermal and solar heating.

Jake Tornazsky is a Manager of Installation for Solar City, headquartered in California but now lives in Colorado Springs, CO.  Jake is also a certified instructor and conducted the recent training of 26 veterans at the VETSS headquarters in St Louis.

Jake discusses with new training class the VETSS 4kW solar energy system installed at this $2MM custom built home in Ladue, MO.

Geothermal installer, Phil Schoen, President, GEO Enterprise, Oklahoma, is a military veteran who has installed geothermal energy systems throughout the US, China and Korea.  We are pleased to have him as a team member, mentor, and partner of VETSS.

Phil closely supervises the fusing of tubing during his “hand-on” exercises during the recent training session in St. Louis.

Matt Belcher, President, Belcher Homes installs green products in all his custom built homes.  A past president of the U.S. Green Builder’s Association, Matt installs solar pre-wire kits, geothermal energy systems and numerous energy efficient systems/materials throughout his homes and projects.

VETSS’ first member joining our network of installers was Mark Bauer, President, Bauer Power.  Mark is a Marine Corps veteran who works primarily throughout the States of Michigan and Ohio.  However, he participated with VETSS to complete this 4 kW solar installation project in St Louis.  Together VETSS and Bauer Power were able to train 18 veterans on this project, to include two electricians who had recently returned from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
